Online Feeding Therapy for Alberta Families
Nervous-system-informed care for children ages 0 to 7, from home, without waitlists.
Mealtimes do not have to feel like a battle.
If your child refuses most foods, gags at new textures, shuts down at the table, or turns every meal into a standoff, you are not failing as a parent. You are watching your child's nervous system do exactly what it was designed to do when it does not feel safe.
Intuitive Therapy Solutions offers fully virtual pediatric feeding therapy for families across Alberta. You get specialized feeding care from home, without the waitlists, without the travel, and without taking your child out of their own environment to do it.
Why regulation comes before food.
Most feeding approaches focus on what a child eats. The Regulated Table Framework starts with why a child cannot eat.
A dysregulated nervous system cannot explore new foods, not because a child is being difficult, but because safety is a biological prerequisite for curiosity. Before any food exposure strategy can work, the body needs to feel safe enough to try.
This regulation-first model organizes every session at ITS. The framework moves through five levels. Food acceptance is only possible once the foundational levels are in place.
The Regulated Table Framework
What this looks like for your family.
Sessions are held virtually via a secure video platform. You participate as an active partner, not an observer sitting off to the side. You learn to read your child's nervous system signals, understand what is driving their feeding behaviour, and build mealtime routines that reduce pressure and increase connection.
Most families notice a shift in mealtime stress within the first 4 to 6 weeks, not because the food list changes, but because the environment does.
