Feeding challenges are rarely about food alone.
We focus on building safety in the body first — creating the foundation for comfortable feeding, emotional ease, and connected mealtimes.
Our Approach
1. Build Safety & Regulation First
Support the nervous system so the body is available for feeding.
2. Understand Root Contributors
Sensory processing, oral-motor skills, medical factors, routines, and environment.
3. Coach Parents in Real Time
So change happens between sessions, not just during them.
Who We’re Best Suited For
• Parents who want to understand the why behind their child’s feeding challenges
• Families open to a nervous-system-informed, relationship-based approach
• Children with sensory-emotional intensity around food
• Parents seeking long-term change, not quick fixes
We may not be the best fit for families seeking compliance-based or quick-fix approaches.

Sensory Processing & Regulation
Occupational therapy support for sensory processing differences and nervous system regulation impacting feeding and daily routines.
What To Expect When You Work With Us
- We begin with a complimentary fit consult to explore your child’s needs and determine whether our nervous-system-informed, parent-coaching approach fits your family.
- A collaborative intake and assessment clarifies patterns impacting feeding and regulation.
- Sessions focus first on building safety and regulation in the body, then supporting sensory processing, comfort around food, and everyday routines.
- Caregivers are active participants — learning strategies that carry into real life, not just during sessions.
- Progress is individualized, gradual, and focused on sustainable change.
This is not: Compliance-based programming, reward-driven feeding drills, or child-only therapy without caregiver involvement.
Proactive Feeding Support
You don’t need to wait until feeding feels “bad enough.”
We support parents who want to build strong foundations early and prevent challenges from escalating.
Founder-Led Pediatric Feeding & Regulation Practice
Stephanie Forseth is a Registered Occupational Therapist, pediatric feeding specialist, and the founder of Intuitive Therapy Solutions.
Her practice is built on one premise: before a child can eat more safely and comfortably, their nervous system needs to feel safe first.
Stephanie specializes in pediatric feeding therapy, sensory processing, and nervous system regulation for children ages 0–7 — working closely with parents as active partners in every session. Her work integrates clinical reasoning, The Regulated Table™ Framework, and a highly attuned therapeutic presence to support meaningful, lasting change — not quick fixes or compliance-based approaches.
Families are supported virtually across Canada.
Who We’re Best Suited For
Our practice is best suited for families with infants, toddlers, and early-elementary children whose primary concerns relate to feeding, sensory processing, and nervous system regulation.
We work most effectively when parents are open to learning, co-regulating, and making small, consistent changes at home.
