Who we support

Is this the right fit for your family?

We work with parents of young children whose daily routines are affected by:

  • Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) or significant food refusal
  • Sensory-based food avoidance, gagging, or mealtime distress
  • Limited diet variety or ARFID patterns
  • Mealtime anxiety, power struggles, or shutdown
  • Nervous system overwhelm that affects feeding and daily participation
  • Transitioning textures, cups, or oral motor skills

No referral or diagnosis required. A complimentary fit consult is always the first step.

What to expect

How virtual sessions work.

Each session is conducted via secure telehealth platform and is built around your real mealtime context:

  • Send a short mealtime video clip before your session
  • Live parent coaching and strategy discussion tailored to your child
  • Actionable next steps for your actual mealtimes — not generic tips
  • Progress reviewed each session; approach adapts as your child grows
Serving families across Canada Stephanie is registered with ACOT (Alberta College of Occupational Therapists), which permits virtual service delivery across Canadian provinces. You do not need to be in Alberta to access these services.

Common questions

FAQs.

Is this fully online?

Yes. All services are provided virtually to families across Canada. No in-person visits are required or available.

Do we need to be in Alberta?

No. Stephanie's ACOT registration permits virtual practice across all Canadian provinces and territories. Families anywhere in Canada are welcome.

Do we need a referral or diagnosis?

No. A diagnosis can be helpful context but is never a requirement. Many families we work with do not have a formal diagnosis when they start.

What technology do we need?

A device with a camera (tablet, laptop, or phone), reliable internet, and the ability to prop the device at table height during mealtimes. We use a secure, PIPEDA-compliant platform — no downloads required.

Is this covered by FSCD funding or extended health benefits?

FSCD invoicing is available for eligible Alberta families. Many extended health plans cover OT services — we provide receipts for submission. Confirm coverage with your provider before starting.
