Virtual Feeding Therapy
for Families Across Canada
Nervous-system-informed pediatric OT and parent coaching — delivered to your home, wherever you are in Canada. No referral or diagnosis required.
Pediatric feeding therapy that comes to you.
If you're navigating feeding challenges, mealtime stress, or a child who seems genuinely distressed around food — you don't need to live near a specialist to get help.
Intuitive Therapy Solutions is a founder-led pediatric occupational therapy practice specializing in feeding therapy and parent coaching for children ages 0–7. All services are delivered virtually, to families anywhere in Canada.
Stephanie Forseth, OT, developed The Regulated Table™ Framework to address what standard approaches miss: the nervous system. Safety and regulation come before food acceptance — always.
Why virtual feeding therapy works
Support that meets you where mealtimes actually happen.
Virtual feeding therapy isn't a compromise. For most families navigating feeding challenges with young children, it's one of the most effective delivery models available.
Your home is the therapy room
Sessions happen where eating actually occurs. Strategies are immediately applicable to your real table, your real chairs, your real mealtime rhythm — not recreated in a clinic.
Parents lead the change
Our model centers caregiver coaching. You learn to understand your child's nervous system and respond in ways that build safety — and those skills travel everywhere you do.
Access across Canada
No travel, no waitlists, no geography barrier. Families in BC, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan — anywhere in Canada — can access specialized pediatric feeding OT support.
Nervous-system informed, not compliance-based
The Regulated Table™ Framework treats safety and regulation as the foundation — not food variety as the immediate goal. This is the piece most families have been missing.

Is this the right support for your family?
Virtual feeding therapy through Intuitive Therapy Solutions is well-suited for families navigating:
Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD)Children with persistent, significant feeding difficulties affecting nutrition, growth, or daily wellbeing — with or without a formal diagnosis.
Sensory-based food refusalChildren who gag, shut down, or become genuinely distressed at mealtimes due to sensitivity to textures, smells, temperatures, or appearance of food.
Extreme mealtime stressFamilies where mealtimes feel like daily battles — anxiety, avoidance, or conflict affecting everyone at the table.
ARFID or very limited varietyChildren with highly restricted diets, rigid food rules, or Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder patterns that aren't responding to standard strategies.
No referral or diagnosis is required to begin. A complimentary fit consult is always the first step — we'll talk through what's happening and whether this approach is the right match for your family.

Common questions
FAQs about virtual feeding therapy in Canada.
Do we need to be in Alberta to work with you?
No. Stephanie is registered with ACOT (Alberta College of Occupational Therapists), which permits virtual service delivery across Canada. Families in BC, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Maritimes, Quebec, and all territories are welcome to inquire.
Is virtual feeding therapy as effective as in-person?
For most feeding challenges in children ages 0–7, yes — and for caregiver-coaching models like ours, often more so. Sessions happen in your actual home environment, which means strategies are immediately applicable to your real mealtime context. The evidence base for telehealth OT delivery is strong and growing.
Do we need a referral or diagnosis to start?
No. Many of the children we work with do not have a formal diagnosis. A diagnosis can be helpful context, but it is never a requirement. The first step is always a complimentary 15-minute fit consult.
What technology do we need?
A device with a working camera (tablet, laptop, or phone) and a reliable internet connection. We use a secure, PIPEDA-compliant telehealth platform — no special software or downloads required.
Is this covered by extended health benefits or FSCD?
Many extended health plans cover occupational therapy services — we provide receipts for all sessions. Alberta families with FSCD funding: we invoice FSCD directly for eligible services. Please confirm your plan's coverage with your provider before starting.
How many sessions will we need?
This depends on your child's needs and your goals. Feeding therapy is available in structured packages (Foundations — 4 sessions, Growth Plan — 12 sessions, Intensive — 20 sessions). Parent-only coaching is a 3-session series. We discuss the right fit on your complimentary consult call before any commitment is made.
